Tracy Ritter earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in both Vocal Performance and Music Education from the University of Central Florida in Orlando. She has sung in U.S. cities from coast to coast, including: San Diego, Grand Rapids, Memphis, Chicago, Atlanta, New York, and Orlando, as well as abroad in Italy and Israel. Appearing on the opera stage in the Orlando Camerata Chorus, she has performed in such operas as: La Boheme, Don Giovanni, I Pagliacci, Faust, Susannah, and Amahl and The Night Visitors. As a member of the Orlando Opera Studio, she performed in their school outreach program, which introduces children to opera. Tracy has been a winner in the National Association of Teachers of singing in the Senior, Junior, and Sophomore divisions at the district level. Three years in a row, she won the University of Central Florida's Concerto Competition, which gave her the opportunity to sing opera arias by such composers as: Menotti, Puccini, Gershwin, and Floyd while being accompanied by the University of Central Florida Community Orchestra. Tracy enjoys performing the bride's favorite vocal selections at wedding ceremonies throughout Central Florida, including: Disney Wedding Pavillion, Leu Gardens, Maitland Art Center, Maison et Jardin, and other favorite wedding sites. Tracy is equally at home singing at an outdoor wedding or in the quiet serenity of a church setting. Some brides choose vocals from movies or musicals, such as, 'All I Ask Of You,' from Phantom of the Opera or 'When I Fall In Love,' from Sleepless In Seattle, while others prefer sacred songs such as 'Ave Maria' or 'The Lord's Prayer' for traditional church weddings. |
